Ever find yourself obsessively worrying about the future?

You know that feeling.

You’re thinking of all the possible outcomes of a situation sometimes positive and sometimes negative?

This is called future tripping. and that my friends is the biggest thing that could ever sabotage you.

It could sabotage your friendships, your relationships and the way that you feel about yourself.

What is happening is that the EGO is stepping in and providing you with a ton of shit that doesn’t even exist.

The what if’s the fears, the should haves, the would haves and the could haves.

In those moments, we start to feel powerless, we start to feel like every worry and every fear are taking over.

The key to getting off this trip and regaining control of your life is very quite simple.

Take a moment to first acknowledge the thought.

Then look around, is what you’re tripping about about actually happening right now?

Is your room really as dark as your mind is making it?

No of course it isn’t and of course it isn’t even really occuring.

So then, acknowledge that.

The next thing you want to do is close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths.

Inhale deeply in, exhale deeply out. repeat that two more times.

Open your eyes.

Much better right?

Time to take your power back now.

The only moment that you can truly control is the present.
