Going into #thechoeshow I was ready to just allow whatever needs to happen, happen.
I was open to the endless possibilities of self re-creation, and connecting with community.
I was Super anxious, hella nervous but, surrender I did. ✨
I was immediately greeted by such smiling faces and connected with such amazing humans off the bat.
Upon entering I was so afraid of the unknown, and I was shaking with nerves but it was necessary.
It was necessary for me to sit in fear, to live in it, lean into it, shake into it even and then for it to come to such a head where you have no choice but to let go.
Tears flooded my eyes multiple times, well the whole time, but my group consoled me.
They didn’t even know me, but, they held me, cried with me and we all stepped into love together.
It’s crazy how you think you’ve done the work with your own pain or trauma and then are asked about it out of the blue, and become witness to just how much pain you’re still holding in.
I can happily and humbly say that I left my pain there and came home infinitely lighter with a new group of people that in 3hours became family #teamredaffair and to @davidchoe you are one magical soul.
Keep shining your light, the world needs more of this.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart❤nothing changes if nothing changes!
